We have established a well-equipped Neurobehavioral research laboratory (NBRL) to study autism, Alzheimer's Disease and related neurological disorders in rats and successfully established the animal model of autism and other neurological disorders in rats. The validation of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) model in animals is totally depended on the behavioral tests, so we required a well-equipped animal behavioral laboratory set up. There are some common and basic requirements of any animal behavioral lab facility of autism, which includes: Ethovision XT Software, A room with controlled light and temperature facility, All the behavioral equipment. (i.e. Morris water maze, Elevated plus maze, Three chamber sociability test, Open field test, Hanging wire test, Hole board, Forced swim test, Negative geotaxis test, Grid walking test, Walking initiation test, Olfactory discrimination test.), A microbalance and microscope, Pregnant mother and pups monitoring system, A fully loaded Work station., A video recording system with night vision camera., An automated behavioral analysis software system.
